a two2one is just £31.25p per hour, each, for 4 hours with a top model!!
this is what we offer :
1/ assisted one2one events : £250 for 4 hours
2/ assisted two2one events : £125 per person for 4 hours
3/ assisted with your own model : £100 for 4 hours
4/ retouching tuition if requested : £25.00 per hour
plus
5/ camera skills and photography tuition without a model : 4 hours for £175.00
makeup artist – living in a small town in Wales, makeup artists are hard to find, however my personal favourite, Karen hegarty, is available. Due to her having to travel a fair distance, her charge would be £125 or £194 for a full day. (examples in the gallery here)
about studio days for any skill level! :
Yourself (or 2 of you), your model and myself will put together a series of scenes, sort out the lighting – studio, location etc., and I’ll assist you (as much or as little as you want!), or you can just tell us what to do – so you can just get on with taking your best images ever! The beauty of an assisted photography event is that we can tailor the event to suit your needs, whilst progressing at a speed that’s suitable to yourself! During my assistance , I may take images to further the tuition, by way of illustrating lighting setup or for a practical demonstration, such as working with your model to get the best results. These images will not be posted to social media or PurplePort until at least a month has passed, although I may upload to my website to advertise the success of some events. If you would prefer that I don’t take or upload any images – just say!
The best value for money for time with your model and resulting images! A two2one is just £31.25p per hour, per photographer, 4 hours – you won’t beat this for value for money per result!
The event would also be tailored to your preferred subject with plenty of pre-event communications to make sure we get it right! My personal speciality is Art Nude : but generally anything with people in the frame, we can shoot fashion, gels, glamour, art nude, commercial, editorial, long exposures etc.
Where a makeup artist is employed we will shoot without her for the first part, then I will tutor you on re-touching while the mua does the biggest part of the makeup, then we’ll shoot the final images.
Please note : the 4 hour events include a tea/coffee break. These breaks also serve as re-cap/discussion times as well as helping you to get to know your models personality and preferences. Bring a packed lunch too if you wish, as food is not included.
Two2one’s – you and a friend or two share the cost! So it’s you and friend, your chosen model, and me – for the same price as a one2one, eg 4 hours £250, that’s £125 each, all facilities included – see below for more prices.
Deposits and payment :
one2one : £100 deposit approx 21 days before the event then £150 balance in cash on the day
two2one : £50 deposit per person approx 21 days before the event then £75 each in cash on the day
makeup artist £60 payable in advance

Following the amazing success of the assisted one2one and two2one events, I have been asked many times about this new format :
You, or you and a friend, can hire me, the studio, all facilities and equipment for 4 hours : £100! Just provide your own model! Available weekdays and weekends, some evenings too!

All of our one2one events are hands-on based for maximum practicality, allowing you to take away many great images for your portfolio and for references for lighting set-ups etc.

I do my best to provide a quality experience on my events, I’m not God with a camera but after 38 years of professional photography I have a few tips and tricks to pass on. I have my own way of conducting these events and will fit in with your needs as best I can to assist you to get your best images ever! During my assistance, I will take a few images to further the progress, by way of illustrating lighting setup or for a practical demonstration, such as working with your model, to help you to get your best results – it’s part of how I assist!
Let me just point out 1 example from many possibles – I can demonstrate working with your model in 3 minutes, where it would take 10 minutes to explain, this gives you more shooting time, (do you learn better by reading instructions or by practical demonstrations?) Work this out for yourself with various subjects e.g. lighting, framing etc. over a period of 4-5 hours, that a lot of time saved for you to use to photograph your model!!
However, these images – if I do post any – will NOT be posted to social media or PurplePort until a few weeks have passed. If you would prefer that I don’t take or post any images – JUST SAY! If you don’t like how my working methods sound – then you don’t have to come here, it’s your choice. I can’t be any more open that this.
